Supported Partners - Education


Monarch School is a unique K–12 public school located in San Diego, California, dedicated to educating students experiencing homelessness. Established in 1988, it operates through a public-private partnership between the San Diego County Office of Education and the nonprofit Monarch School Project. Serving nearly 300 students daily, Monarch provides a holistic educational environment that addresses academic, social, emotional, and life skill needs.


The Arthur Miller Foundation (AMF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing equitable access to quality theater education for public school students. Established in 1999 by renowned playwright Arthur Miller, the Foundation aims to honor his legacy and his belief in the transformative power of theater.


Tarbuton is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2006 to engage San Diego’s Jewish community by encouraging grassroots and lay-led Jewish and Israeli cultural programs for youth and adults that educate, build community and strengthen Jewish identity. Operating from The Hive at Leichtag Commons in Encinitas, Tarbuton collaborates with various organizations to create diverse, non-denominational programs that appeal to a broad audience.


Anya Benya is an Israeli youth movement established in 2017, dedicated to empowering adolescents—particularly those of Ethiopian descent—by fostering leadership, inclusivity, and social responsibility. The organization operates under the principle of "youth leading youth," aiming to cultivate a sense of belonging and active citizenship among its participants.


Naturally Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the natural, organic, and better-for-you consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Serving over 25,000 companies and reaching an audience of more than 50,000 individuals, the network fosters growth, innovation, and inclusivity across the CPG ecosystem.


The AjA Project is a nonprofit organization headquartered in San Diego, California. Utilizing participatory photography methods and an assets-based model, AjA’s programs transform youth and communities.

Since its founding, AjA has provided long-term, community-based programming for over 3500 individuals, and has shared visual narratives with over 3 million viewers through large-scale public exhibits.


Friends by Nature – Community Empowerment is an Israeli nonprofit organization founded in 2005. It focuses on empowering Ethiopian-Israeli communities and promoting multicultural integration across Israel. The organization brings together Ethiopian-Israelis, veteran Israelis, religious, and secular individuals, all committed to strengthening personal and communal identity through mutual respect and cultural heritage.


Food Education Fund is a New York City-based nonprofit organization providing public high school students with the knowledge, skills, and network they need to transform their futures.

Established in 2004 in partnership with the Food and Finance High School as part of Mayor Bloomberg’s small schools initiative, FEF aims to prepare students for meaningful careers and further education by providing hands-on experiences and industry exposure.


The Resolution Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young leaders to drive social change within their communities. Founded in 2007, the organization identifies and supports undergraduate students with innovative ideas aimed at addressing pressing societal issues.
